cannon 512 sv

is this a good Super 8 camera. I bought it for $40 along with case, instructions, and sun gun. it works too. what are the pros and cons about this camera?

I'm not too familiar with the 512, however, I use an 814 as a backup to my Nizo 4080, and have never had a problem. Canon's optics are usually pretty good...partially because they're multicoated. Go to www.filmshooting.com. Andreas, who run's the site, might be able to help you out and may also have an instruction manual for it.
